The Laurel
Materials Used: New Lasa Marble
Project Type: Luxury Condominium - NYC
The Laurel at 400 East 67th Street is a 129-unit luxury condominium in NYC. CT Stone supplied kitchen counters, mosaic floors and trough vanities in New Lasa, a honed white marble. The architect and developer, Costas Kondylis and Alexico Group, selected the stone as an alternative to more expensive materials like Thassos and Bianco Lasa. Looking to achieve an ultra contemporary and somewhat minimalistic décor, New Lasa became the material of choice both aesthetically and economically.
The Laurel boasts top of the line amenities including a state of the art triathlon-training center designed by fitness guru John Sitaras. Complete with three pools, Ironmen (and women) running circuit and top-shelf biking equipment, The Laurel hopes to turn residents into full fledged sport-enthusiasts.
